I. Products Description and Application
For checking the insulation degraded level of vacuum circuit breaker , one common test method is by power frequency withstand voltage , however this way just find the defects that the degree of vacuum has been seriously deteriorated. When the vacuum degree has been deteriorated to 10-2----10-1 Pa, although the breakdown voltage did not decrease through power frequency withstand voltage test , the arc extinguishing chamber was still unacceptable.
The HTZK vacuum switch vacuum level tester uses a new excitation coil and uses the magnetron discharge method to test the vacuum of the arc extinguishing chamber without disassembling the arc extinguishing chamber. At the same time, the microcomputer is used for synchronous control and data acquisition and processing, so that the field test sensitivity in the arc extinguishing chamber can reach 10-5Pa. The most prominent feature of this instrument is the use of a new excitation coil and data processing method to achieve a vacuum measurement without disassembly. The instrument has the advantages of convenient use, simple operation, disassembly measurement and high test accuracy. It is a practical testing instrument and widely used in power, steel, petrochemical, textile, coal, railway and other departments that use vacuum switches.
II. Test principle of HTZK tester
Pull open a distance of the two contacts of arc extinguish chamber, apply pulse high voltage, encircle the magnetic coil around the outside on the arc extinguish chamber, connect a large current to the coil, which produces synchronous pulsed magnetic fields in the arc extinguish chamber together with high voltage, so that the electronic in the arc extinguish chamber makes spiral movements due to the pulse magnetic fields and with the collide ionization of residual gas molecules, the resulting ion current is approximately proportional to the residual gas density. For different tubes, in the same vacuum conditions, the ion current size is not the same, when the detect ion current, through an ion current-vacuum curve, the vacuum is automatically calculated by a computer, and the values is displayed.
III. Features
The apparatus can automatically identify breaker status of on or off for fracture and operates accordingly with clue.

The device has powerful graphical analysis function, which makes it possible to display waveform and measured data simultaneously. Thus testing process is more self-evident.
The device contains delay and protection function, which makes it possible to cutoff coil voltage automatically after circuit breaker operates. Therefore, the circuit breaker and the testing instrument are well protected.
The device can be used to carry out electric and manual switch test.
The device can be used in experiment of low voltage and high voltage, and seek the minimum voltage or closing voltage automatically.
It can be used in reclosing experiment for parameters measurement of closing-opening, opening-closing and opening-closing-opening.
